Even the treks two glacier crossing are relatively easy treaker also get a glimpse into the unique way of life Passu Vallegers, Who tend livestok in the summer pastures along the glacier's north margin.
The alrernative rout along the glaciers south margin and glacier crossing (see Alternative Days 4 -5 )presents a more shaded and cooler alternative to trekking along its sunny north margin on hot july and August Days. Treaker with less time are those disinlined to undertake any glacier crossing can simply trek along the south margin to Maidun and return by the same rout. This make a pleasent three to four days trek, But does not give any views of the Batura Wall or ie floes.
