Day 2

Saidu Sharif to Rumbur Village Kalash Valleys Chitral

• Drive to Rumbur Village Kalash Valleys Chitral (07 hours)
• Drive through the tribal belts of Lower Dir, Upper Dir and Lowari Tunnel
• Reach Ayun village and drive to Rumbur Village on a dirt road (09 hours)
• Arrival at Rumbur Kalash Village and transfer to a local guesthouse

• Full day to explore the local culture and colors
• Visit Kalash temples and cultural center

Rumbur – Chitral City – Mastuj (2300m)

• Morning drive to Chitral town
• Visit Friday Mosque and Chitral Bazaar
• Drive to Mastuj before taking lunch at Koragh
• Road expansion work can result in extended stops en route.

Mastuj – Shandur Pass – Phandar

• Morning drive to Phandar (5 hours)
• Stops at multiple places to record the stunning landscape
• Stop at highest polo field (3800m)
• Walk around the field and take plenty of photos
• Arrival at Phandar and walk around the lake
• Overnight stay at Phandar

Phandar – Karimabad Hunza

• Drive to Karimabad the capital of Hunza Valley
• Lunch at Gilgit
• En route stop at Silk Road View Point
• Stop at Rakaposhi View Point
• Arrival at Karimabad and transfer to your hotel
• Visit Duikar Eagle’s Nest for sunset view of the valley

• En route stop at Junction of the Mountains

• Change to 4WD soft top local jeeps towards Tatoo
• From Tatoo, start a 3 hours long hike to Fairy Meadows

Fairy Meadows

• Full day to explore the landscape
• Hike to Beyal Camp (2 hours)
• Beyal Camp to Advance Basecamp (4300m) of Nanga Parbat if interested (4 hours)
• Late afternoon walk back to Fairy Meadows

Fairy Meadows – Raikot Sarai Hotel

Day 11

Fairy Meadows to Besham or Naran

• Moring walk down to Tatoo (2 hours)
• Transfer to local 4WD to drive back to Raikot Bridge
• Drive to Chilas for lunch
• Stop at Shatiyal Rock Carving and Old Silk Road Or drive to Naran via Babusar Pass
• Arrival at Besham for overnight stay

Besham – Besham Inn or Hotel One Naran

Day 12

Naran or Besham to Islamabad

• Drive to Islamabad
• En route visit Gandhara archaeological remains at Taxila
• Visit Julian, Cirkap, Dharmarajika Stupa and Taxila Museum
• Arrival at Islamabad and transfer to your hotel
